Cort G300 Pro Vivid Burgundy Electric Guitar
General
Enter the Cort G-Series flagship model: the G300 Pro. This slick electric guitar combines boutique styling with the best possible specs that Cort can offer at this price level. Luckily, that means a real American basswood body topped with a 6mm thick slice of maple, plus a set of Seymour Duncan TB-4/SH-2N humbuckers that have been specifically wired so that the fitted 5-way switch even toggles through individual coils. Needless to say, the result is high-quality, highly-flexible tone.
The G300 Pro: Top-Tier Parts
Now let's look at the top-tier parts that Cort have used to flesh out the G300 Pro. For a start, you're looking at a roasted maple neck and 12" to 16" compound radius fretboard finished with 24 stainless steel frets. Add that to the Ergo-V profile of the neck, and what you get are extreme levels of playing comfort. Also, the Luminlay side-dots are great for navigating the frets in the dark, while premium hardware like the GraphTech Black Tusq nut, the modern two-point tremolo bridge and the staggered locking machine heads take care of optimum tuning stability and resonance.

Fantastic quality guitar, has the feeling of a much more expensive instrument.
Setup/action is excellent straight from the box.
Tremolo works well with the 2 springs fitted but an extra spring is provided in the bag with Allen keys etc if you want it to be a bit stiffer.
I cannot fault the fit and finish of this beautiful guitar and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a purchase, especially at this price point where it puts the competition in the shade with things like stainless steel frets and Seymour Duncan pickups.
Amazing guitar, particularly as I got this model in a B Stock deal that was near half price. Absolutely nothing wrong with mine aside from a tiny black mark on the lower binding. The neck is quite chunky but feels and looks great along with the compound radius board and the chocolate like roasted maple finish. These are my first SS frets and they feel great and are well dressed with no sharp edges. The finish is gorgeous with the pale burgundy having a light sparkle ( to my eye anyway) and the binding / relief is natural with a hint of quilt to it. The body is extremely comfortable either sitting or standing and is well balanced with the cut aways really allowing it to mould to your body. You get the classic Seymour Duncan set of JB Bridge and Jazz neck and the way they've been wired into the five way gives a fantastic range of tones for almost any genre. The floating trem is also excellent. Add to that, the staggered locking tuners and Tusq nut and you have top spec guitar which even at full price is great value.
