The LTD TRUCKSTER looks like it's been through many a metal performance in Bob's Country Bunker. This satin-gloss black James Hetfield signature instrument has an Eclipse-model body that's been made to look like its been used. Another striking feature is the presence of a set of active EMG JH humbuckers. These pickups were designed especially for James Hetfield and combine a tight, loud, active sound with the dynamic, warm properties of passive pickups.
The base of the TRUCKSTER (Aged Black Satin)
The only place where quality pickups can really shine is on a proper basis. This is why the LTD TRUCKSTER (Aged BLKS) has a full, warm, yet open sounding mahogany body. To increase sustain and attack, this metal guitar was fitted with a set-in neck. The neck's slender U profile and extra-large frets make solos and riffs run exceptionally smooth, and the Tonepros Locking bridge retains tuning excellently.
