The Fender Mystic Blue American Standard Stratocaster HSS is a gorgeous instrument with an equally beautiful sound that is wrought by the collaboration of its maple body, rosewood fretboard and three pickups. This threesome (Fender Diamondhead Humbucker and two Custom Shop Fat '50s) are appropriately managed by a five-position pickup switch and volume controls so you can balance out their sound until you're fully pleased with it.

Guitars and bass guitars from the American Standard series

The professional American Standard series comprises the most recent, US-built versions of Fender's four most famous guitars: Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. They all feature a quality ash or alder body, an average-gauge C-profile maple neck and a relatively flat maple or rosewood fretboard, as well as a reliable, sustain-enhancing bridge and (often) Custom Shop pickups for the classic Fender sound.
