Fender American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster en blanco (Olympic White)
General
Is a genuine 1965 Fender Jazzmaster guitar out of your price range? The American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster offers the exact same looks, sound and playability at a lower price. It was made in America according to original specifications and with historically correct types of wood, components and hardware. It doesn't get any better than this, unless you're willing to spend thousands on an original specimen. Like its headstock, the lightweight alder body of the American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster has a classic Fender Olympic White nitrocellulose-lacquer finish.
American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster: authentic features
The '65 Jazzmaster looks a lot like the Jaguar but separates itself by its 21-fret neck and full (25.5-inch) scale length. Also, this guitar is equipped with two soapbar-sized single-coil pickups for a fuller, warmer sound. Originally, the Jazzmaster was aimed at jazz guitarists, but its shape and sound made it a highly popular instrument in the surf scene. The American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster's fretboard is a thin rosewood veneer that follow the curvature of the radius. It has white bindings and the clay-dot position markers of the '62 model have been replaced with extra large mother-of-pearl dots. Other striking features include a tremolo-lock button to fix the floating tremolo tailpiece, and vintage-correct white witch-hat knobs.
American Vintage series: more accurate than ever before
The American Vintage series comprises several iconic Fender models from the '50s, '60s and '70s that are vintage-accurate to the smallest details. To achieve this vintage accuracy, the specs and details of countless original old Fenders have been carefully studied and examined. Fender even brushed off the tools of the period to make the result as authentic as possible. All of the American Vintage series guitars come with an accessory vintage-style case with replica case candy that includes a guitar strap, an instrument cable, a polishing cloth, instruction booklets and pamphlets of the period.
