Even the 7.25 inch fretboard radius and U-profile have been retained, giving the neck an immediately round and snug feel compared to the flattened 9.6 inch radius and C-profile of more current models.Warm and tasty, throwback-flavoured twang is guaranteed by the two-piece Vintage-Style '50s Single-Coil Tele pickup loadout which, combined with the maple neck, deliver some classic bite. Meanwhile, the high-gloss polyester finish of the solid alder body is protected by a period-correct single-ply parchment pickguard. In fact, the only modern tweak is the synthetic bone nut, which is naturally lubricated to prevent the strings from getting stuck in the nut grooves while tuning. Besides that welcome addition, this faithful Tele couldn't get more authentic.
