Straight out of their high-end Premium Series, Ibanez drop the AZ226PB. Topped with sumptuous poplar burl, this agile instrument offers close-to compulsive playability. This indisputable superstrat comes mounted with three HSS configured Alnico-5 Hyperion pickups that can flip through no less than nine different tonal variations. Designed by the ever eminent Seymour Duncan, these pickups endow the guitar with clarity and presence whether clean or overdriven. The neck and fretboard have been given the oxygen-based S-Tech Roasted treatment to ensure an insanely strong foundation that's resistant to extreme temperature and humidity shifts while offering unshakeable stability, incredible balance and heaps of sustain. This, along with the effortlessly comfortable Oval-C profile of the neck, rounded edges of the fretboard, and snug, bevelled body make for an irresistible playability that only befits a Premium instrument.
