Built under the supervision of guitarist Tom Quayle, the Ibanez TQM2 Tom Quayle Signature boasts all the flair of a 4mm-thick flamed maple top and the flawless playability of a high-spec design. The neck hasn't just been carved from a slab of roasted maple but has been given a special S-Tech treatment, further boosting the stability and raising the resistance to temperature and humidity shifts. The oil finish gives the neck an extremely fast feel, while the rosewood fretboard has been topped with jumbo stainless-steel frets which aren't just corrosion-resistant, but ensure a fast response and excellent articulation. The shallow body and smooth contouring also add to the comfort, while the Charcoal Black Burst finish frames everything in satisfying aesthetics.

The TQM2 Tom Quayle Signature from Ibanez comes armed with two TQM-S single-coils at the neck and in the middle, and a TQM-H humbucker at the bridge. This loadout expertly picks out the more subtle details of your playing and, dialled in right, you can finally gain that unmistakable Tom Quayle sound. The dyna-MIX 9 system and Alter Switch supply no-less-than nine tonal variations and make it easy to switch from humbucker to single-coil output and back again. And this level of precision extends to the hardware, which includes a Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge and a set of Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads that combine to absolutely guarantee unshakable tuning stability.
