In solid Michael Kelly style, the boutique vibe of the ST-model is supported by the tough look of the open pore finish that also has the added benefit of enriching the foundation sound and protecting the solid body. Mounted with an HSS pickup configuration, you get a full-fat humbucker at the bridge that can be split using the convenient push/pull function of the tone pot for a full vintage-feeling single-coil sound, backed by the pair of single coils mounted in the middle and neck positions.

Wat een top gitaar! Ik was opzoek naar een betere getaar. Tot nu toe speelde ik op een oude stagg gitaar. In eerste instantie wou ik een squier kopen. Gelukkig heb ik dat niet gedaan. De gitaar heeft gewelidige looks en betere features dan een squier voor dit geld. De actie en afstelling was bijna perfect uit de doos. Alleen de intonatie moest aangepast worden.
De gitaar speelt heerlijk door zijn dunne matte nek. Qua tone opties heb je meer dan genoeg keuze. De HSS configuratie met coil split door push pull bied veel mogelijkheden!
Al met al ben ik heel blij met deze gitaar en zal deze nog lang in mijn collectie blijven!

Geweldige gitaar in deze price-range! Ik was op zoek naar en vervanger van mijn instap gitaar (een stagg). Na eindeloos naar fender/squier te kijkne werd ik gewezen op een Michael Kelly. Ik werd meteen gegrepen door de looks! nu ik de gitaar ok in mijn handen heb kan ik niet meer dan alleen enthousisast zijn! Wow wat een mogelijkheden en goedwerkende trem! Locking tuners en een coilsplit!
Uit de doos stond de actie ook goed en moest ik alleen de intonatie aanpassen. De gitaar blijf goed zijn stemming vasthouden ook na gebruik van de trem.
al met al ben ik heel tevreden over de gitaar en blijft deze nog lang in mijn collectie!
