Schecter's Reaper-6 FR S is an electric guitar with a stable Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, a Diamond Decimator humbucker and a Sustainiac pickup. That means you can expect awesome sounds and endless sustain! There are three modes on board (Fundamental, Harmonic and Mix) that let you select extra sustain for the normal notes, the harmonic overtones or both at once! As you can imagine, the Reaper-6 FR S is ideal for styles like rock and metal.
Materials and modern features
This gorgeous electric guitar has body made of swamp ash with a beautiful burl top. Other modern features include a set 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut that has an ultra thin C profile. The ebony fretboard has a flat 14-inch radius and there are 24 extra jumbo frets.

Een scheurijzer dat er ook nog eens ontzettend wreed elegant uitziet. Met een nek zo dun en snel dat niks je tegenoudt. Een nek ook die uitdaagt. Nu zijn alle schectergitaren in deze prijsklasse top, en gaat het meer om je smaak dan de performance. Wat zeg je? Hoezo performance, met die sustainiac kun je een moord plegen! Hoewel ik meest metal speel, doet ze het ook goed in ambient, iets waar deze gitaar om vroeg, het was niet mijn idee. Ze is een geweldige prog gitaar.
De (voor mij eerste) FR is wat gecompliceerd (kost tijd) met verschillende tunings, dus er gaat er nog eentje (of tweetje) bij komen met een vaste brug.
Qua afwerking is het een beauty, uit de doos puntgaaf, maagdelijk in alles, ondertussen niet meer.
Ze zeggen dat een instrument je moet inspireren en uitdagen, dat doet deze Reaper met sustainiac en FR zeker. Creatief met kurk dus. Die top is geweldig!
