Squier present the Affinity Series Telecaster Deluxe: a premium yet affordable spin on the classic Tele loaded with a pair of fat-sounding ceramic humbuckers and standard-issue electronics consisting of a 3-way switch and volume-and-tone pots per pickup. This set-up opens up a huge range of rich double-coil sounds - some of which it shares with the now-vintage '70s models - while the body comes finished with C-profile maple neck and a belly-cut in the lightweight TE-style body. In terms of dependable hardware, you're getting sealed split-shaft tuners and a fixed string-through body bridge with six saddles that team up to ensure great tuning stability.

Voor zo'n prijs klinkt deze gitaar fantastisch! Ziet er ook erg mooi uit in het echt, maar de snaren bevielen me niet, dus heb een nieuw pakje gekocht, maar voor de rest is de gitaar erg aan te raden voor deze prijs.
Heb deze gitaar tijdens de lockdown gekocht. Ik was verrast door de kwaliteit van de gitaar. Had voor zo'n lage prijs niet veel verwacht. Ik speel nog maar kort gitaar dus ik kan niet meteen vergelijken met vele andere gitaren. Ik kan wel zeggen dat hij zeer soepel en comfortabel speelt. Zeker waard voor zijn prijs!

This guitar represents great value indeed, and its delivery from Bax was prompt and efficient. The guitar arrived completely undamaged.
For a 'budget' guitar, it was very well set-up as regards the string action and intonation. I did need to do some tweaks to the E and A lower strings to get them spot-on. I also lowered the action more. However, it didn't need it and Fender guitars are great as you are able to easily adjust such things.
The two ceramic pickups sound really good indeed. I currently have them going through a Fender amp. With distortion, this gives a superb meaty rock sound. As the strings go through the body, the strings are slightly stiffer on Telecasters. However, this also means you could down-tune this guitar really easily.
The pickup configuration is the same as an SG-two volume and two tones. I usually then use the bridge to play rhythm and the the neck on a high volume to do leads.
I removed all the pickguard plastic yesterday. It looks really nice-especially the pickup covers. The guitar only weighs 3.1kgs, lighter than my strat. It is a little neck heavy though, and so I recommend and anti-slip strap.
All in all, I cannot recommend this guitar highly enough. The neck is also nice and dry and I couldn't find any rough frets at all. This is also Chinese made rather than being Indonesian. I cannot recommend this guitar highly enough. Bax also had a great price and free delivery. Right, I am off to play my new guitar instead of this review..
