Takamine GC1CE Electro-Acoustic Classical Guitar (Natural)

The Takamine GC1CE-NAT is the electro-acoustic version of the GC1-NAT. This great-quality, more-than-attractively priced full-size guitar has a pickup and preamp on board so that it can be played either acoustically or electrically. The latter is great when you want to record your sound or have decided that you want to start performing on stage. The GC1CE is a cut-away electric model, which means that it comes with a cut out of the body for eased access to the higher frets.

The GC1CE-NAT: Specially Selected Wood

To give this Spanish guitar a warm and full sound whether played acoustically or not, Takamine have used specially selected wood types for the build. The resonance chamber is made of mahogany for deep, sweet lows and topped with spruce for just the right amount of mid-range presence and brightness. Fully playable by both beginners and advanced guitarists, the 19-fret neck features a comfortable shape while the whole thing is finished with a beautiful wooden sound hole rosette and high-gloss lacquer.

TP-E Preamp with On-Board Tuner

The electronics section of the GC1CE-NAT includes a built-in pickup and Takamine's own TP-E preamp, supported by a pair of large volume and tone controls. Next to an on-board digital chromatic tuner for no-fuss tuning, there's even a Mid Cut function that enables you to reduce the mid-range frequencies to get that popular 'scooped' sound!
