General
The Ibanez AE Series AE200JR has a more compact body than the standard AE line-up, making this Junior model especially comfortable in smaller hands. While the resonance chamber is framed by a solid spruce soundboard and an okoume back and sides for a balanced mix of tonal warmth and clarity, the nyatoh neck has been topped with an ovangkol fretboard that has a flat, 15.75-inch radius and a relatively short, 23.9-inch scale length, resulting in a lower string tension and a nice-and-light playing feel. Last but not least, Ibanez has outfitted this electro-acoustic model with their Custom Electronics preamp and T-bar undersaddle pickup for exacting amplified sound, and you get a matching gig bag so you can safely hit the road with your new trusty six-string.
