Elegance incarnate, the Duesenberg Starplayer TV Custom semi-acoustic comes fully decked out with the swag of gold-plated hardware, a gloss-black coated top and flamed maple back. The three D-Tron humbuckers mounted at the bridge, the neck and middle positions dish out open and transparent sound, capped with sparkling trebles, completing one of the most unique and adaptable Starplayers to ever come out of the Duesenberg workshop. The pickup loadout is supported by an innovative Multi-Tone pot: twist it one way to blend the output of the middle pickup with the neck and bridge pickup and twist it the other way to tweak the global tone.

The Duesenberg Starplayer TV Custom: Unique, High-Quality Comfort

The body of this semi-hollow, single-cut Duesenberg offering has been built from a laminated spruce top and maple sides, which combine with the flamed maple back to complete the deep and airy foundation. A solid centre-block has been added to the design to squash any overbearing feedback at higher volume and gain levels and, to guarantee smooth passage for your fret-hand, this model has been finished with a one-piece, medium D-profiled maple neck that's been seamlessly set into the body to boost resonance. This guitar has even been given the full PLEK treatment, so the frets have been precisely levelled and everything has been set up to ensure sublime playability, straight out of the box.

The Custom edition of the Starplayer TV has been built with pride in Germany so, as you'd expect, it comes kitted out with a high-end Diamond Deluxe Tremola tailpiece and Steel Saddle Bridge. This system is the direct result of decades spent improving and innovating on the original '50s design, all to guarantee stable tuning and even quicker and simpler re-stringing.
