Gretsch G2622T Streamliner Center Block Double-Cut Bigsby Vintage White Semi-Acoustic Guitar

"Wow! what a fabulous Gretsch guitar". with an old English white soundboard beautifully contrasted with dark mahogany sides and back finished with a white binding front and back with thin double black lines giving a look of sheer quality. The neck is slim and shallow with a low, easy to play action with a white binding, single black dot fret markers and double dots at the 12th fret. The soundboard has subtle thumbprint mother of pearl fret markers. The 2 Broadtron humbucker pick-ups give a great tonal range with a 3 position switch giving warm bass to edgy trebles retaining that true Gretsch sound with a Bigsby tremolo to enhance it. There is a master volume control with a push-pull splitter facility to separate the humbucker pick-ups to single coil pick-ups. separate volume controls for each pick-up and a single tone control. The radio style controls are subtle and stylish. The tortoiseshell pickguard has been redesigned with a Gretsch Logo. All in all this Streamliner model is a considerable improvement on the earlier model. So, if you like it and don't want to pay a lot extra for higher end models, buy it.
