To start, the alder body comes outlined by cream binding and finished with an authentic f-hole, a three-ply pickguard and chrome-plated hardware - keeping things firmly retro, while the Wilkinson WTB bridge and set of Grover Deluxe machine heads guarantee solid and up-to-date intonation and tuning.

The Vintage V72 Semi-Hollow: Wilkinson Pickups

Even before it's plugged in, the Vintage V72 has exactly the quality of sound you want from a lightweight semi-acoustic model, and when it's plugged in, the amplified sound is voiced by the Alnico magnet of a Wilkinson WTB single-coil at the bridge and the ceramic magnet of a Wilkinson WDG mini-humbucker at the neck. This neat combo brings that TE-style jangle, brightness and bite alongside warmed up basses and a thickened output. Blend that with the natural resonance of the body and you get a highly expressive, responsive and playable electric six-string in a classic jacket.
