Boston DIY guitar kits
The Boston DIY kits contain all the parts you need to build a complete instrument. No need to saw, drill, or do any of the hard labour, since all of that has already been done for you. Some models, however, do offer the option to custom shape the head. There are lots of different Boston DIY kits to choose from, from the traditional ST and T styles to the Archtop. If you want a 12-string ST-style guitar, a left-handed model, or a jazz or P style bass, Boston has it all! These sets offer a creative and fun way to buildi your own unique, custom guitar.

Zeer leuk en leerzaam bouwpakket. Dit is mijn 2de stratocaster bouwpakket ondertussen. Een bewijs dat ik er tevreden over ben.En zoals gewoonlijk correct en snel geleverd door Bax.
leuk speelt lekker is super mooi geworden
enkel 2 kleine gaten zaten niet echt honderd procent juist, eentje bij de stemsleutel dit is wel belangrijk en eentje bij de cover plaat achteraan
maar het is dan ook zelfbouw en zeker aan te raden om te doen
Ik heb deze kit voornamelijk gekocht om wat meer extreem onderhoud op te oefenen voordat ik losga op mijn goeie instrument. Een kit is een mooie manier om te leren hoe een strat in elkaar zit.
De hals is niet slecht, de body behoorlijk nauwkeurig afgewerkt. De metaalwaren en elektronica zijn zeer, zeer goedkoop en zal ik ooit nog wel eens vervangen waarbij de pickups en de tuners het eerste aan de beurt zijn. Bij mijn kit ontbrak de snarenset, maar die waren zo te zien toch al niet veel.
Als je een goedkope gitaar zoekt ben je beter uit door voor een paar tientjes meer een instapmodel fazley of squier aan te schaffen. Maar als je van de grond af aan je eigen custom gitaar wilt bouwen is dit geen slechte start. Verwacht wel nog wat extra investeringen om 'm soepel speelbaar te krijgen.
