The Avantone Pro CK-7 is a glorious condenser microphone that combines quality with great versatile, and even an affordable price! It features three switchable pickup patterns, making it suited for classic studio setups like an MS and Blumlein setup. Its capsule features a gold-sputtered, 35mm Mylar diaphragm, ensuring constant high quality! The CK-7's internal electronics have been carefully assembled, and in order to prevent audio colouring, the mic does not feature a transformer. Discreet Class A FET circuitry will yield pleasing professional results comparable to much more expensive designs.

Avantone CK-7: versatile

The three different pickup patterns can be alternated via a switch at the front. You can pick from a cardioid, omnidirectional or figure-8 pickup. What’s more, this microphone is fitted with high-quality electronic components that are usually used to mod the mic, resulting in a microphone that's suited for all manner of applications. It can be used for vocals, as an overhead with drums or choirs, or as a room mic. In stereo use, the aforementioned MS and Blumlein setups are possible!

Pad and High Pass

Because of the clear proximity effect of the Avantone CK-7, its high pass filter comes in especially handy! The proximity effect means that when you sing closely into the microphone, low tones become more clearly accentuated! It can also make for annoying plosives, however, which is why the high-pass filter is practical. Everything below 80 Hz is attenuated by a 6dB roll off. A -10dB pad switch is featured for loud sound sources. In short: this microphone has everything you need for high-quality recordings!
