General
The RODELink Performer by Rode is a user-friendly wireless handheld system that works on the 2.4GHz frequency band, which means you can use it anywhere in the world without a permit. This is why the RODELink series is so popular among news reporters and journalists in particular. The Performer Kit comes complete with the TX-M2 handheld microphone/transmitter. It has an M2 condenser mic capsule that ensures clear, uncoloured audio and it is powered either by AA batteries or by using the included LB-1 battery, which you can recharge using the included USB cable. The TX-M2 transmitter and RX-DESK receiver can both be used with other components form the RODELink series, such as the RX-CAM receiver and the TX-XLR and TX-BELT transmitters.

Great service and a great price for a wireless microphone kit that easily competes with the likes of Shure and Sennheiser for build quality and performance. Connect the rechargable battery - takes an hour or two to fully charge. Then simply switch on and pair the Mic with your chosen channel on the receiver for crystal clear vocals and that's all there is to it. Highly recommended.
