General
This fully flexible all-rounder of a microphone can be set up for podcasting, online conferences, live streaming, and even voice-over work. The Tascam TM-250 USB microphone is fully plug-and-play, is compatible with all platforms, and captures speech with crystal clarity. Simply connect it to a laptop or computer using the included USB-C cable, select the microphone as the audio input and output in your operating system (whether Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android) and you're ready to perform or record. The body has been fitted with a headphone output complete with a dedicated volume control so the registered audio can be monitored in real-time, while the gain control adjusts the microphone input level and a mute button has been provided to silence the mike when needed. The fitted capsule has a front-focussed supercardioid polar pattern that effectively filters out ambient noise, and since the TM-250 comes including a desktop tripod and microphone clip, it can be set up and plugged in straight away.
