The EMAD Onyx by Evans is a single-layer bass drumhead that's 10 mils thick and produces a powerful, rich sound with a prominent low range and a long sustain. The EMAD dampening system gives you more control over the attack and focus. As you'd expect, it works well, sonically, with other Onyx drumheads by Evans.
