EMG 91 Black Active Humbucker

The EMG 91 active dual-coil has a floating mount, setting it up for archtop-style semi-hollow electric guitars or other semi-acoustic models that don't feature any pickup routing. The design of this humbucker takes direct inspiration from the jazz tone of Ron Eschete, so the Alnico magnet and exclusively developed internal preamp combine to deliver warm and defined sound that fully retains the natural voice of your semi-hollow guitar. This pickup also supports outstanding string separation, so every note of even more complex chords is fully articulated. The EMG 91 is the first low-impedance floating pickup ever, and its clever design means it can be seamlessly slotted onto the end of the fretboard, leaving the strings and top of your guitar unhindered.
