This mighty booster is renowned for its insanely transparent sound - even if you push the volume pot all the way, your amp expands and distorts with nothing but butter-rich purity. On top of that, your guitar gets a remarkable presence upgrade, especially if your vintage pickups have seen better days.

The founder of Z-Vex Effects, Zachary Vex, is no stranger to the land of innovative effect building - in fact he's renowned. By mounting one of the hand-painted or screen-printed stompboxes onto your board, you're joining forces with the many revered guitarists who have done it before you. Each pedal has been handmade by Zachary's self-appointed elves (so he says), and while the hand-painted editions are much sought after, if you get your grubby mitts on one of these screen-printed Vexter Series editions - you get all of the same sound quality for a little less cash.
