Digitech pedal vibrato Ventura Vibe Rotary
General
Digitech is playing it smart in the world of rotary and vibrato effects. These types of pedals have become so popular, it's as though the 60s and 70s have returned in full ornate. Next to three unique rotary/vibrato sounds in the Vintage or Modern modes, this pedal also has a drive button that provides an even more realistic Leslie speaker sound. What's more, you can use the footswitch to select different rotary and vibrato speeds by keeping it pushed in with your foot at the moment you want to achieve this kind of effect. Of course, this unit contains a True Bypass circuit to maintain a pure tone.
Ventura Vibe: a winning hand
Digitech's Ventura Vibe is a winner, hands down. This pedal realistically emulates classic vibrato and rotary speaker effects and can be used in either stereo or mono mode. The rotary effects are especially appealing to the ear. There are three Rotary/Vibrato effects available, namely: Vintage, which is inspired by the classic phaser-based Uni-Vibe effects from the 60s and 70s; Modern, which delivers a pure and original vibrato effect; and finally, Rotary, which simulates the sound of the legendary Leslie speaker.
Practical features
What makes the Ventura Vibe extra special are the smart and handy items included, like the so-called StompLock, for example. This makes sure the buttons on the pedal (and your preferences) are protected against any roughhousing on stage. We're talking about falling, kicking, or any other physical roughness that could inadvertently change your settings or damage the buttons. Digitech also includes a Hook and Loop Pedalboard Pad so you can easily mount your new Ventura Vibe on your pedalboard! The Ventura Vibe works with a 9-volt battery, or an optionally available adapter.
