For guitarists with a fascination for in-depth modulation, Earthquaker Devices present the Aquaduct Vibrato: an impossibly flexible vibrato stompbox loaded with 8 different modulation modes for unrestricted waveform-based experimentation. This means you can unleash a tonal flash-flood at will in either sine, triangle, ramp, square or random mode, or in one of three envelope-controlled sine-based versions (env D / env R / env P) where the Rate and Depth controls can be used to dial in specific parameters - more on this in the next bit!

The Aquaduct: Dynamic Response and Expressive Tremolo-Handle Simulations

In Env D mode, Rate control sets the speed of the wave while the Depth control is used to adjust the sensitivity. The harder you play, the harder the Aquaduct starts to modulate. In Env R mode, it's actually the Rate pot that determines the sensitivity while the vibrato speed depends on the dynamics of your playing and the intensity is dialled in using the Depth control. Lastly, in Env P mode, you're treated to a highly expressive chorus that Earthquaker Devices have appropriately named the 'My Bloody Valentine' setting. Here, the Depth pot adjusts the balance between the bypass foundation sound and the effect signal, with the Rate control in charge of just how intense you want the tremolo handle simulation to be.
