The Pigtronix Gloamer is best described as a fully analogue, polyphonic amplitude synthesizer in stompbox-form and gives you the option to the tweak the attack and decay of an audio source. In other words, the Gloamer can be deployed for ambient volume swells with variable timing, ranging from extremely fast to really slow. What's more, this Pigtronix creation can also serve as an optical compressor to inject a subtle dose of punch or extra sustain, and it can even be used to whip up a wide range of tremolo and stutter effects. In short, you're looking at a powerful tool for shoegazing and other creative purposes.
