If you're a fan of guitarists like Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Jack White (White Stripes) and The Edge (U2), you're sure to appreciate Digitech's Whammy Ricochet effects pedal. This compact effects pedal lets you adjust your pitch, giving you whammy bar effects and more. It's a True Bypass pedal, meaning it won't affect your sound when it's not activated. The foot switch can be set to provide momentary or latching effects. As the name suggests, momentary effects only last a moment, while in latching mode, the effects will remain until you deactivate them again.
Whammy Ricochet: Range, Ballistics and Pitch
The Whammy Ricochet has two modes of operation, Classic and Chords. Classic mode is best for single note soloing, while Chord mode is better suited for bending full chords. The Pitch knob sets the interval of the pitch-shifted note, giving you a total of seven possibilities. With the Ballistics knobs, you can adjust the rate at which the note will be shifted in pitch and the rate at which it will return to normal. LED lights on the pedal will give you a visual indication of what's happening to the sound.

Voltreffer weer van digitech ! ... Ik had al een whammy 4 die thuis in de studio is achtergebleven en had snel een alternatief nodig voor op podium, perfecte keuze dit ... doet alles wat mijn full size whammy doet in een veel kleinere footprint op m'n bord en heeft ook geen speciale ac power supply nodig zoals de versie 4. Helemaal tevreden ! Dank je Bax voor de super snelle service en levering ! I will be back ! ;)
De Whammy was te groot voor de keren dat ik hem gebruikte. Deze ricochet neemt niet veel plek in en doet alles wat de whammy doet.
Zo'n mooi pedaaltje deze. Erg gaaf in combinatie met de freqout. Ben verliefd op de ricochet. ;-)
Ook weer ruim op tijd ontvangen (is ook heel lang wel anders geweest bij Bax) Petje af! Zeker in deze periode! TOP!!
Une vrai whammy dans des dimensions contenues. Le double potard est bien pensé et l'utilisation est intuitive. Prêt pour du Black Keys !
Heeft alles wat ik zoek. Fungeert als whammy uiteraard. Waarschijnlijk minder fijn te bedienen vanwege het ontbreken van een expressiepedaal, maar ik gebruik de whammy alleen voor Rage against the machine. Dat gaat prima.
De fijnste functie is het in 1 keer kunnen switchen naar lagere (of hogere) stemmingen. Pedaal reageert daar goed op.

Een 2 in 1 pedaal voor mij. Zowel de Digitech Drop als de Whammy. En netjes geprijsd. Ook een mooi formaat.
Zeer fijn pedaal, ik wilde eerst een "Whammy V" maar ik kwam er achter dat dit pedaal ook kan wat ik zocht. Bouw kwaliteit is niets op aan te merken en de bediening is vrij makkelijk uit te vogelen. Een groot voordeel voor mij is dat hij ook lekker klein is (t.o.v. een Whammy V) zodat hij netjes op mijn bescheiden pedal board past.
Levering was snel en niets op aan te merken.

All the whammy you would expect in a smaller package. The footswitch make the effect more controllable than the treadle. Polyphonic tracking is very good. There are useful octave effects to be had as well.
Only thing to be aware of is that in momentary mode the effect is not bypassed and introduces a very slight latency in the signal, even if the effect is not engaged.
