The world-famous Zildjian Company has been using a secret alloy for their cymbals since way back in 1623, and has passed on that well-kept secret from generation to generation. The A Custom series gets its name from the founder of this family business – Avedis I - who got the Zildjian name from the sultan in Constantinople and has been designed in collaboration with renowned drummer Vinnie Colaiuta.
