The Roland CY-5 digital dual-zone cymbal pad 10 inch allows you to put your heart into your drumming. The versatile CY-5 is a useful addition to your V-Drums drum kit. The sensitive 10-inch playing surface accurately registers your strokes and turns them into digital signals for your drum module. The CY-5 has a realistic weight balance and moves just like a classic cymbal. The CY-5 cymbal pad can be used for various applications and can serve as a hi-hat or as an additional splash pad.
CY-5: edge and bow
The CY-5 offers a life-like result and a realistic response to your hits, as the dual-trigger system accurately registers any strokes on the edge and the bow of the cymbal pad. Once the signal is transferred to your drum module, the right sound is produced. Naturally, the CY-5 can easily be combined with the drum module and percussion pads of your V-Drums kit.

Na ongeveer 10 jaar dagelijks op mijn Roland TD-4 te hebben gespeeld gaf de oude hi-hat al een tijdje een dubbel geluid. Dit is blijkbaar een bekend probleem voor deze cy-5 maar vandaar heb ik een nieuwe besteld. De bestelling heb ik de volgende dag al ontvangen door de altijd goede service van Bax en de hi-hat bevalt erg goed. Het dubbele geluid is weer verholpen.
