The future-focussed, ultra-all-rounder that is the Sabian HHX 22 Anthology ride cymbal emits a lush and warm response backed up by forceful projection. This is the Low Bell edition, and ensures excellent sonic control as well as consistent stick definition, no matter how aggressive your playing gets. Essentially blending the sound of a crash and ride in one cymbal, the HHX 22 Anthology has been developed with the capable help of Mark Love, and according to the philosophy of renowned drummer, Jojo Mayer to ensure that - "It's the musician that determines the nature of this cymbal - crash or ride." The aesthetics as well as the approach are just as radical and clean-cut, where a minimalist Anthology and HHX logo have been outlined in subtle ink. As for the sound, this Low Bell variant is at once traditional, expressive and elegant.
