Sabian's SBR line (which stands for 'Sabian Brass') is their least expensive line of cymbals, but you wouldn't guess that by the sound of them. The surface of this 18-inch crash/ride cymbal is hammered and lathed to create a bright, focused sound, while its medium-heavy weight gives it plenty of volume. As the name implies, it has great stick definition and a cutting bell sound, so it will serve you well as a ride cymbal, while it also produces plenty of wash and volume to be a great, loud crash!
