For the Kerope series of cymbals, Zildjian was inspired by the past, and they've used all of their nearly 400 years of experience in crafting these cymbals. A special fourteen-step process leads to cymbals that look and sound just like vintage cymbals. The Kerope 20-inch Medium Ride is a great cymbal for drummers who want a heavy ride cymbal that accurately picks up all the intricate patterns they play. Furthermore, this cymbal weighs somewhere between 2,126 and 2,381 grams, making it heavier than all other Kerope cymbals, while still having the same rich, dark sound.

Hand-crafted

This is because all Kerope cymbals are hand-hammered - which can be seen on the inside of the bell, where the craftsman writes the exact weight of the cymbal.
