This is the download version, which means you can have it at the push of a button! SampleTank 3 is a comprehensive, affordable package of digital instruments that rang from realistic electric bass guitar and acoustic pianos to smooth string sections and vintage synthesizers. No matter what kind of sound you're after, this bundle has it all! You can play the instruments with a MIDI keyboard in standalone mode (as a separate program), or as a plugin you can load into your DAW.
SampleTank 3 download: full of samples
IK Multimedia have pulled out all the stops adding new instruments, effects, and filters to SampleTank 3. The result is a whopping 33 GB of samples, 55 effects (20 of which are new) and 14 filters. If you have an older version of SampleTank or use instruments like SampleMoog or Miroslav Philharmonik, you can load them easily into the program. As well as a fresh dose of instruments, this third version is also characterised by its 64-bit programming and user-friendly interface. Another added bonus is the live mode that makes it easier than ever to use live presets for a performance that will look and sound effortless!
Realistic sounds
What makes the instruments in Sampletank 3 so convincing, is the attention to dynamics and articulation, which emphasise length and volume of the notes that are played, and 'round robins', which are small variations in the tonal characteristics that automatically occur when a note is repeated, like a drum roll on a snare, for instance. Last but not least, all these virtual instruments sound natural at any pitch thanks to IK Multimedia's Stretch engine.
