The Cloudlifter CL-Zi Mic Activator: Extensive Options

While the CL-1 only has an input and an output, the CL-Z and CL-Zi offer more extensive options. Both come with adjustable input impedance between 150 and 15,000 Ohms, as well as variable High-Pass Filtering (Proximity Effect Control) to set the cut-off frequency from anywhere below 20 Hz to above 200 Hz. This comes in handy when you're creating your tone or want to reduce the proximity effect of your ribbon or dynamic microphone. Powered by phantom power from your interface or mixer, the Cloudlifter CL-Zi Mic Activator is perfectly suited for live use, broadcasts and various studio applications. Do keep in mind that the CL-Zi can't pass on 48V power to your microphone and is only suited for passive models.
