DJs looking for a matched set of speakers for club or outdoor performances can stop their search. HK Audio's Elements series has exactly what you need. The Elements Smart Base Single speaker set delivers 2400 watts of power and can be easily expanded upon with a second E835 speaker for a sound that carries even further. The E110 SUB AS subwoofer will take care of the bass frequencies and serves as the base of the setup that is easy to construct with the included EP1 speaker pole.
Smart Base Single: quick and easy setup
Setting up the Elements sound system takes hardly any time at all. Apart from a power cable and a signal cable, you won't need anything else as Elements speakers can be connected together easily using a system known as E-connect. The E110 SUB AS woofer has two of these connectors. Should you want to add an extra passive subwoofer to the setup, however, you will need an extra cable. Putting the system together is simple too using the EP1 speaker pole to attach the E835 speakers on top of the subwoofer. That does away with the need for any extra speaker stands.
Elements: expandable
Another great feature of the Elements series is the fact that it is an expandable system. Simply add or remove components to suit your needs. That also makes this system extremely portable and mobile. You won't need any extra sound monitors either as the Elements series virtually eliminates feedback which means you can even set the system up behind the sound source or band.

I have had a pair of these full columns for a couple of months now, also bought 2 x extra 835's and 2 x sub bass cabs - all from the same system. Looking back, it would have been worth buying the whole lot together, as I would have saved money with Bax on the full package, rather than buying the component parts in stages.
Anyway, back to the review -Expensive, but it really is excellent kit, with an excellent sound - clear as a bell vocals in a 4 piece blues/rock band - easily heard over a loud second-half classic rock set (when the beer has been flowing). I have used it in various wattage configurations in different sized pub/venues - no feedback problems (still set them up FOH and use monitors). My only worry is that a drunk punter can fall into them because they are unobtrusive.... I have insured them though in case the worst happens.
if I was doing an outdoor small gig or a bigger stage type venue, I would use the full set up and re-enforce them with another 1000w conventional sub and tops that I have from the old system.
If you want lightweight, high quality, you wont be unhappy - but they do cost a lot more money remember.
