Plugged into an acoustic amplifier, the double-bass-style sound of the Kala U-Bass Striped Ebony Fretted uke is faithfully translated by an exclusive pickup and preamp system, which can be dialled in via the side-mounted controls. And, since this model has been fully prepped for the stage, it also comes pre-wrapped in its own padded and form-fitting gig bag.
