The Ortega RUET-SMA Elite Series Concert Ukulele features a solid soundboard which, just like the rest of the body, has been carved from spalted maple for a naturally unique look. The beautiful colouration and patterning of the wood is accentuated by a gloss finish, while the mahogany neck has been topped with a walnut fretboard finished with a gorgeous Tree of Life inlay. A set of black Friction machine heads seal up the aesthetics and tuning stability.

Versatile and Comfortable

Graced with what's known as a scalloped cutaway, the body of this concert uke has a shell-shaped cut-out that provides eased access to the highest notes, significantly raising the playing comfort the RUET-SMA Elite offers. To finish and so you're free to jack into an acoustic amp, Ortega have integrated MagusFly electronics complete with soundhole controls and a feedback-countering phase control. This preamp runs on the included rechargeable battery.
