JS1CR: 3 Ways to sustain & unlimited vibrato variations
By the way, there are three ways to make use of the JS1CR's sustainer. In the first position, only the base sound of any note played is pushed through. The second setting adds the well-known singing overtones to the mix while the third setting will only sustain overtones. It goes without saying a classic JS / Edge tremolo bridge is fitted on this Joe Satriani signature guitar. This floating bridge delivers exactly the right sound and feel loved by so many Satriani disciples. Subtle tone bending, crazy musical nosedives and brutal sound walls, the Ibanez JS1CR can handle anything you throw at it.

I purchased the JS1CR30 from Bax in February and it is an amazing guitar. Ibanez has sorted the chrome finish as the chrome finish appears to be like any other guitar finish now, unlike the JS10 chromeboys which are really just collectors guitars. The JS1CR can be played without fear of the chrome coming off. The sound and playability is obvious as it is an Ibanez JS guitar
