Part of Tech 21's Character Plus Series pedals, the English Muffy doesn't just set you up with the sound of British-style amps, but the option to add tasty muff-style fuzz to any of them. After switching on the stompbox via the bypass switch, you're free to toggle between the two channels using the A/B switch before stomping on the Muff footswitch for some of that classic hairy fuzz.
The English Muffy: Intuitive In-Depth Tweaking
No less than eleven controls make sure that you can dial in your signature sound with maximum precision. Besides individual volume, drive and character pots for both channels, you're looking at a 3-band EQ for more general tweaks, plus three dedicated muff fuzz controls labelled level, tone and sustain. Also, the Tech 21 English Muffy can serve as more than just a pedal amp for your effects chain. Hook it up directly to a power amp, mixer, PA system or audio interface and any sound you choose is brought out in full.
