General
The Istanbul XIST Dry Dark 10" hi-hat is far from any old standard issue hi-hat. The upper hat comfortably doubles as a splash, and the lower hat can also be used to throw in bell-like accents. This is not just a hi-hat but multifaceted percussion. Set them up hi-hat-style and you get a nicely dark, trashy yet direct response with a short sustain. These hats are at their best when combined with other 10" cymbals from the Istanbul Agop Dry Dark range.
